Customer Terms

These terms govern customer use of Excel to Jira Importer, unless a separate written agreement applies.

1. Product

Excel to Jira Importer is a Jira Cloud app that helps users import backlog rows from Excel files into existing Jira projects and update matching Jira issues when repeat imports are used.

Vendor

The app is provided by Piotr Mederak, ul. Magnolii 1K/2, 05-500 Nowa Wola, Poland.

2. Atlassian Marketplace

If the app is acquired through Atlassian Marketplace, purchase, billing and marketplace access are also governed by Atlassian Marketplace terms. These Customer Terms apply to the app provided by the vendor.

3. Customer responsibilities

• Customers are responsible for the content they import into Jira.
• Customers must ensure users have appropriate Jira permissions.
• Customers should validate import previews before confirming issue creation or updates.
• Customers should not import sensitive or regulated data unless their own compliance review permits it.

4. License and restrictions

Subject to valid installation and payment, where applicable, customers receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app with their Jira Cloud site. Customers must not reverse engineer, misuse, overload or attempt to bypass app access controls.

5. Support

Support is provided through support.jira@mederak.app. See Support Policy for support scope and response targets.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to maintain a reliable product experience, but the app depends on Jira Cloud, Atlassian Forge and Jira REST APIs. Features may change to maintain compatibility, improve security or address platform changes.

7. Warranty disclaimer

The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. Customers are responsible for reviewing import previews and reports.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is limited to direct damages and excludes indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive damages and loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunities.

9. Termination

Customers may uninstall the app at any time. Upon uninstall, app functionality stops. Some Jira issue data created by the app remains in Jira unless deleted by the customer.
